Needs list is long for the community.

As we assess the extensive list of needs within our community, it is imperative to initiate a prioritization process that will enhance the overall well-being of the City of Kress. With zero full-time employees currently on staff and one 100% volunteer, they are highly productive part-time employees and have been instrumental in driving progress under my leadership. By diligently streamlining expenses and ensuring timely financial deposits, we have achieved significant growth and financial stability.

Moving forward, I am preparing to present proposals to the City Council for the acquisition of generators to safeguard against power outages to provide power to water wells to service the community, a critical step following past challenges. Additionally, plans are underway to secure grants for community projects such as park enhancements, recognizing the financial commitment required for these initiatives to come to fruition.

Your support and partnership are vital as we embark on these transformative endeavors for the benefit of our community. It is imperative for the City Of Kress to purchase tools and update equipment that is in dire need. The City Of Kress owns very few tools and has a lot of equipment that needs repair.

Financials

Since taking over the City of Kress and leveraging the success of my business career, the financials have seen a remarkable transformation. From a position of strength, my strategic leadership has enabled significant growth and stability, paving the way for a promising future for Kress, Texas. Through collaboration with a supportive city council, building relationships with key stakeholders, and fostering strong ties with city workers and the fire chief, I have spearheaded positive changes and progress within the community. The City of Kress is now well-positioned for continued success thanks to your dedication and vision. In the amount of money that I started with there is $114,599 of Covid money. So, without that it would have been closer to $50,835. To be transparent, the City of Kress received about another $84,371 more covid money in new number.  View the details below.
